UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State Nittany Lions know where they will close out 2017. The Lions are headed to the desert. The bowl invitations went out on Sunday, and while the Nittany Lions didn’t land a bowl that’s part of the national championship playoff, they did get a pretty good one. Penn state dominated Michigan this weekend 42-13. They led 14-0 after a quarter. The Nittany Lions are now out-scoring their opponents 90-0 in first quarters this season. They’re the only FBS team in the country yet to allow a point in the first 15 minutes. It’s an area of focus that’s clearly working.

PASADENA, Calif. — On Monday, January 2nd, the 128th annual Tournament of Roses Parade is scheduled to step off at 11 a.m. eastern time. The Rose Bowl Parade can be seen on WNEP-TV. Penn State is facing off against #9 USC in the 103rd Rose Bowl in southern California at 5 p.m. eastern time on ESPN. The bowl game is a rematch of the very first Rose Bowl between Penn State and USC.
