Fatal Crash in Luzerne County

HAZLE TWP — One woman is dead after a crash Saturday afternoon in Luzerne County. Police say it happened along Hazle Township Boulevard near Hazleton around 3 p.m. Saturday. They say a car rear ended a vehicle causing it to lose control and strike a utility pole. Car Crashes into Train in Luzerne County

HAZLE TOWNSHIP — A car plowed into a train Thursday night in one part of Luzerne County. State police say the Reading Railroad Train was crossing South Church Street near Hazleton when a car slammed right into its side around 11:30 p.m. Officials tell us the railroad crossing sign was flashing, but the driver, a man from Drums, failed to stop. He was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay after the crash in Luzerne County.
