Two Arrested for Deadly Lycoming County Shooting

LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP — State police have arrested two men in connection with a deadly shooting in Lycoming County. Troopers tell us Zachary Williams, 22, and Joshua Cooley, 22, both of Williamsport, will be arraigned Monday on homicide charges in the shooting death of Maurice Dowling, 25, of Williamsport. All Aboard for the Toy Train Expo in Lycoming County

WILLIAMSPORT — This weekend marks the 27th annual Will Huffman Toy Train Expo at Park Place in Williamsport. WNEP-TV stopped by as organizers were setting up for the expo. Man Crushed to Death Working on Vehicle

LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP — A man died after his vehicle crushed him in Lycoming County. The coroner said David Eck, 62, of Limestone Township, was working on the vehicle at his home near Jersey Shore around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. The jack sunk into the ground and the vehicle dropped on Eck, killing him, according to the coroner.

Woman Killed After Being Hit by Vehicle in Lycoming County

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP — A pedestrian was killed crossing a busy highway in Lycoming County. State police identified the victim as Patricia Warner, 59, of Williamsport. Troopers said Warner was crossing Route 220 in Woodward Township near Williamsport around 6:30 p.m. Monday when she was hit by a driver. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Part of Route 220 was shut down for hours while crews cleared the crash scene. That highway is back open at this time.
