ASHLEY — Two robbery suspects led police on a chase through part of Luzerne County. Police said a man and a woman robbed Family Dollar on South Main Street in Ashley around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. TREMONT — A man is recovering after a home invasion and brutal beating in Schuylkill County. State police say around 3 a.m. Monday morning, two men entered Richard Stewart’s home in Tremont through an unlocked door. MILTON — A man is locked up for a robbery earlier this month in Northumberland County. Police say Austin Anderson was picked up Tuesday night on Academy Avenue in Milton. He was wanted in connection with a robbery at the Fuel On on North Street November 15. He is locked up in Columbia County prison.

Two More Arrests in Robbery Spree

TAYLOR — Police say they’ve caught the two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Lackawanna County. Harrison Phillips and Michelle Shotwell were picked up Tuesday night in Kingston and brought to the police station in Taylor. A third suspect, Russell Meyer, was arrested earlier in the day after a chase that followed the robbery of a Gulf station in Taylor. Police suspect the three may have been involved in several other robberies over the past 24 hours.

Two Arrested for Violent Robbery in Scranton

SCRANTON — Two of three people accused of a violent robbery last month in Scranton have been arrested. Officers say Tyran Dowdell, 30, and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody for the attack. Both were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated assault, and other charges. Police say back on May 5, they followed two men leaving a bar. Police Release Surveillance Footage Following Robbery in Luzerne County

LUZERNE COUNTY — On Wednesday, an unknown man entered the Dollar General on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre Township and demanded money, according to a release from the Wilkes-Barre Township Police. The robbery occurred around 9:30 p.m. Police say the man pulled a yellow taser and black handgun. The man made off with an undisclosed amount of money and a black sedan was seen leaving the scene following the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact Wilkes-Barre Township Police.
